Wheelchair Rugby XV is a mixed team sport.
This sport promotes inclusion, enabling everyone to have fun without any particular physical condition.
Following the success of the 1st tournament organized in 2023 in Nozay, the Nozay club and AdvanThink are renewing the format on the Saclay plateau on September 13, 2024 at the Moulon gymnasium.
The NOZAY RUGBY club is a section of theASSOCIATION SPORTIVE de NOZAY, a multi-sport association of general interest, with a strong identity that is still atypical in the sporting world.
This collaboration between AdvanThink and the Nozay club allows us to share common values: inclusion, team spirit and the values of sport.
Why organize such an event?
This event aims to encourage exchanges between companies, reinforce the values of living together and promote inclusion. It offers a unique framework for companies to come together, share ideas and strengthen their social commitments.
By promoting this inclusive discipline, we are highlighting values such as solidarity, respect and conviviality. The Nozay club, which opened its Wheelchair Rugby XV section in September 2023, would like to organize this event to raise awareness among more participants and expand its equipment, with the support of partners.
The aim is to bring together professionals from the Saclay plateau around an innovative social project, combining sport and conviviality to raise awareness of the challenges of inclusion, highlight innovations in this field and enliven the area, thus contributing to its influence.
Event schedule :
- 5:30 pm: Reception of participants at the Complexe Omnisport du MOULON
- 5:40pm - 6:00pm: Opening speeches
- 6:00 p.m.: Presentation of practice and rules
- 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm: Tournament
- 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm: End of tournament speeches + Inclusion issues and awards ceremony + Buffet dinner
- 10:30 pm: End of the event

Who can participate?
- Any organization on the Plateau Paris Saclay: association, start-up, SME, large group, public institution...
- A team consists of 5 people on the pitch and as many supporters as necessary.
- It is possible to come to the tournament as a spectator: spectators are asked to register.

Registration is conditional on a donation of €500 per company to AS Nozay Rugby.
This sum will contribute to the purchase of a chair worth €1,300 - the donation is tax deductible. (up to 66% tax reduction).

This fee covers the organization of the tournament and access to the post-tournament buffet.
